Square Bezels with vintage wallpaper Lots and lots of initial bubbles
Cute little Valentine necklaces
Sorry this one's blurry. I just love these puppies.
Vintage baby book picture and glass glitter necklace
I love this one!!
Love this old pic of my grandparents. The blue glass beads remind me of the old cups they used to use in cafes when I was little.
I love old pics of children. This one is behind a piece of mica to make it look even older.
My other grandparents in a heart shaped bezel.
Something about men in uniform!!!!
I loved smashing this old spoon.
Little girl on her first communion. I have about 5 other bezels with different girls. Must be because I'm Catholic that I just love these pictures.
Little Valentine surprises!!!
Fun little wool batting hearts
Wow, can't believe I finally got a few things up to share. I've got so many other pieces started. I've been working on tons of different bezels..round, oval, hearts, rectangles..Now I just have to decided what to put inside of them.
I've trying a couple different ideas with bezels and twisted wire. Let's just say it's been a little trying. Not quite turning out how I envisioned but I'm not giving up on this one.
I have lots of paper mache birds that are just awaiting coats of paint. I'm hoping to get to those this weekend.
Now that I've shared with you maybe I can motivate myself to work on Etsy. Wish me luck!!!
Got a wonderful email from a cousin in Belgium that she had found a picture of my mother-in-law. Since she didn't come here until she was in her 20's, young pictures of her are a rarity. I just love this innocent picture of her. I also love her more than words can say. I can honestly say I have the best mother-in-law in the world!!!
How excited I am to finally be accomplishing things. The weather has given me the chance to do some yardwork....major pruning and adjusting to make the garden bigger this year. And art....this makes me so happy I can't stand it. I finally feel I'm getting things done and trying new things. There's more techniques I would learn to love to step outside my box.
I'll share pics as soon as Jenn brings my camera back. I've finished lots of jewelry pieces, some swaps and a few other things. I can't wait to share with you so you can tell me if I'm headed in the right direction.
I'm ready to head to Etsy and probably Lollishops. I really wanted to have an assortment of goodies before I started. I'm almost there. Thanks to my special friends for their constant support. I greatly appreciate it more than you know!!
Only 5 weeks to go and this little bundle of joy should be making his arrival. Wow how time flies. It doesn't feel like it's been that long ago since this lil' girl came into the world. Now she's bringing us a little guy to spoil!!! I can't wait......just haven't come to terms with the word Grandma.
So glad to be in a New Year. So much chaos to say good-bye to. After a week of Christmas, funerals, New Year's, Baby Shower and closing Jenn's cafe (for baby reasons...that grandbaby will get Mom's full attention), I'm ready for some new challenges, creating and getting hooked up with long lost friends.
I'm a creative soul....trying different mediums. Drives my husband crazy. I've been married to my farmboy husband for 25 years. We have 6 kids ages 25, 24, 22, 20, 20 and 18. And 3 wonderful grandchildren. We live on our dairy in Tillamook. My creative business is Farmgirls. I've got a busy, crazy life....but wouldn't have it any other way....
